About Payo ni Doc

Health guidance you can understand and use.

Payo ni Doc is a Filipino public-health education publication for practical questions about everyday health.

What this publication is for

Health information is everywhere, but it isn't always easy to use. Payo ni Doc keeps it simple: plain-language guides on the health questions Filipino families and workers actually face.

The guides live here for good, so you can come back to them anytime — and when one topic needs a more focused response, we gather what matters into a Health Focus collection.

Education, not diagnosis

Our pages are for public-health education. They are not a diagnosis, a personal treatment plan, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Guides explain what people can understand, prepare for, or ask about next, while keeping the limits of general information visible.

How review and updates work

Guides are written with the latest information on the topic at the time of writing. Sources from local and international health organizations are checked for updates. Our physicians review each guide and provide clinical interpretation where required. Sources, review details, publication dates, update dates, and media credits stay visible where they apply.

When evidence or practical context changes, a guide can show a clear update boundary or point readers to newer guidance. Useful historical guidance remains available rather than disappearing when a Health Focus ends.
